The high cost of housing has created large inequalities , generational and urban divisions. Nowadays, for the new generations, acquiring a home is out of reach while the owners of older generations are trapped in declining places paying stratospheric amounts of taxes.
At Habitemos, we prioritize the design and construction of permanent affordable housing.
We believe that owning a home is a platform from which anyone can pursue personal goals ,
improve their quality of life, and aspire for a higher education .

The construction of new affordable housing is only becoming more expensive and unattainable.
As the cost of construction and labor increases and family income does not increase, the gap in the acquisition of new housing between young professionals, new families and the first homebuyers is almost impossible.
Subsidies, while useful, may not be the only long-term solution to this problem.
Therefore, we develop flexible and accessible housing solutions that can obtain mortgage-free housing.

Housing has become a luxury product in the entire world and many are not willing to borrow for more than 30 years to pay an excessive mortgage.
In many places in the world, there are simply no affordable accommodations available. Without this reserve of homes, it is likely that many families in the homeless world remain unable to own their own home.
Habitemos is in the way of generating viable proposals that allow mortgage-free housing.
We are interested in generating a new innovative housing architecture that allows developing affordable communities , providing single-family homes that allow the economic development of each family and community, allowing autonomous economic development with a new focus on the gig economy.
